CST is coming... Are you ready?

Why you want to be a CST peer mentor

Providence Health Care (PHC) is launching CST in November — and you can be part of the excitement!

St. Paul’s Hospital, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and Holy Family Hospital, and their affiliated long-term care homes, will switch from paper to the CST Cerner clinical information system during the first phase of activation starting in mid-November.

Peer mentor opportunities are available to VCH-Vancouver physicians and clinical staff to help our PHC colleagues make a smooth transition to CST and make health care history.

    Three reasons why

Peer mentor opportunities are open to VCH-Vancouver physicians from all disciplines and clinical areas. Here’s why you’ll want to be a CST peer mentor:

    • You’ll be at the forefront of care and among the first at VCH-Vancouver to learn how to use the new CST Cerner system and see it in action in a real clinical setting.
    • You’ll gain invaluable experience and knowledge you can use to make your transition to CST during VCH-Vancouver’s go-live easier.
    • You’ll work with your PHC physician colleagues leading up to, during and after the system goes live. This is not an office job!

    Express your interest today

CST peer mentor opportunities are anticipated to start at the end of August and last from three to eight months.
