Opportunities to Engage

Upcoming Events

Sunday, June 14: 11 am - 2pm: Inaugural Commensality Group Hike

For those who prefer to be on the move during their free time but also connect with other members for a commensality group, we are introducing Commensality Group Hikes.

We will provide food, which will be distributed at the base location, with each member needing to carry their own food up the mountain to enjoy together at the top. The question we will be discussing is: How do you protect and nurture personal relationships despite demands on work?

A link will be sent to all who sign up at least a week in advance to select their food option. The exact meet-up location on Seymour Mountain will be emailed a week in advance, and lift-sharing can be organized. Click here to learn more about this hike.

The hike begins at 11 am until approximately 2 pm (including lunch).
Register here by June 7.
Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a small backpack and water.
Limited to VPSA members only; sorry, no guests.

This is the first of the Commensality Group Hikes. We will choose a walk within Vancouver that is accessible to all for the next Commensality Group Hike.

Tuesday, June 16: 12 noon - Physician Appreciation Lunch at UBC Hospital
