Vancouver Acute Provider Digital Health Committee

This is a new VCH committee reporting to the Vancouver Medical Advisory Committee (VMAC) and came about in part through VPSA advocating for a digital health committee during the implementation of CST/Cerner. Committee members are currently being selected. VPSA's CST Task Group has now been decommissioned.

The Vancouver Acute Provider Digital Health Committee is committed to shaping the delivery of health care through the integration of innovative digital tools, technologies and practices. It will play a key role in evaluating, recommending, and overseeing digital health initiatives to improve patient care, enhance operational efficiencies, and support clinical staff in their use of emerging technologies.

Key functions of this committee will include:
- Assess and provide feedback on current and future digital health technologies.
- Advocate for digital solutions that will improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the adoption and integration of digital health tools.
- Ensure that new technologies align with clinical needs and organizational goals.

VPSA is afforded one representative on the committee, which will also include other physician voices.
