Hummous

Ingredients

600 g cooked chickpeas (if canned, note salt content)

60 g sesame tahini

juice of 1 or two lemons (70-80 g)

3-5 g salt (less if peas already salted)

1-2 cloves crushed garlic

10 g ground cumin

25-30 g extra virgin olive oil

Method

  • Put all ingredients in a food processor for several minutes and you have fresh hummous.

  • Adjust consistency and taste with water, lemon juice and/or olive oil.
