Spiced Tofu - possibly the quickest recipe ever!

Ingredients
1 package silken tofu
2 tablespoons (tbsp) dark soy sauce (or tamari)
1 tbsp black bean sauce with garlic
1 teaspoon (tsp) toasted sesame oil
1tsp cider vinegar
1 tsp chilli garlic sambal
1 tsp white sugar
½ to 1 cup roasted nuts of your choice (I like peanuts!) - roughly crushed (not to powder)
2-3 garlic cloves - minced
To serve:
2 green onions - finely chopped
½ bunch of cilantro (leaves and stalks) - roughly chopped
Cooked jasmine rice
White or black sesame seeds (optional)

Method
- Put silken tofu on serving plater. Cut it widthwise into short planks. Let water drain off tofu and pour off.
- In a small pan gently heat soy, black bean garlic sauce, cider vinegar, sesame oil, chilli-garlic sambal, and sugar.
- Once gently simmering, add garlic. Reduce heat and cook on low for another 2-3 minutes to let flavour develop.
- Add chopped nuts.
- Pour this prepared sauce over the tofu.
- Springle cilantro and green onions over the tofu.
- Serve with jasmine rice. Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added protein and taste.
